It’s never easy to lose two of the arguably most important players in your squad and still win games, but Real Madrid have managed to do it today against Real Sociedad at the Anoeta.

The Whites were saved by Gareth Bale in the 80th minute, as the Wels international scored an absolutely marvelous header to give his team the 0-1 lead. The forward also scored two goals in the team’s match against Rayo Vallecano and is the main person responsible for the fact that Real Madrid is still in the La Liga title race.

The fact that Bale got his team out of a tough situation didn’t go unnoticed, as an explosion of posts regarding his effort could be seen on Twitter.
