Despite drawing 0-0 a week ago at the Etihad Stadium, things are looking optimistic for Manchester City before the second-leg of their semi-final against Real Madrid.
The match will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night, but it seems that the Whites will be without two quite important figures in their lineup. Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to be fit, but unfortunately for Zinedine Zidane, he won’t be able to rely on Karim Benzema and Casemiro.
Losing Benzema was not too surprising, as the Frenchman has been battling nagging injuries in the last month, but the absence of the Brazilian midfielder will be a bit shocking.
It will interesting to see what adjustments Zidane will make, as both players are more than crucial in Real Madrid’s system.
I'm trying not to be negative, but our Midfield didn't even manage to defend without Casemiro against Rayo, imagine against Man City

Bring it on, @Cristiano. @VincentKompany will have ya. A man that would slide tackle his own daughter if he had to. pic.twitter.com/9MCRrAJEXW

No Benzema or Casemiro tomorrow vs MCFC…. Time to take a trip to the medical dept. pic.twitter.com/DhcuT5PGR2

No Casemiro is huge loss, more big loss than Benzema. Kova should replace him

COPE: With Casemiro injured, Zidane could choose Pepe to play in midfield alongside Kroos & Modric.

Casemiro being out for Real Madrid is a huge boost for #MCFC. Cristiano returns but, if City get it right in midfield, you never know.
