Manchester City hosted Arsenal in what was a hugely important game not only for them, but for Manchester United as well, as the three clubs are currently fighting for two Champions League places.

The match between the Citizens and the Gunners ended in a 2-2 draw after the squad from Manchester took the lead twice, but in the end could not hold on to it. Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne were the goal-scorers for City, while Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez were the ones to find the back of the net for Arsenal.

Thanks to the draw, Manchester United have some pretty good chances of actually reaching the fourth place of the Premier League, and could do so, if they win their two remaining fixtures. In such a scenario, City will not be able to hold on the Champions League spot, thus spoiling Guardiola’s first season as their coach.
