As it’s widely known, Lionel Messi and his father are currently under investigation for tax fraud, as the Argentine has been accused of using tax havens during the period between 2007 and 2009.
The Barcelona superstar appeared in court on Thursday, as he flew back to Spain, despite preparing with the Argentina national squad for the upcoming Copa America. Messi has never admitted that he evaded taxes, as he has always stated that his only concern is playing football.
