Thierry Henry will be leaving his job as a coach for the Arsenal academy after he and Arsene Wenger had a clash of interests. According to the latest reports, Wenger had told the legendary striker that if he does not quit his post as a pundit on Sky, then he will no longer be part of the Gunners.
Wenger wanted Henry to commit himself full-time to Arsenal, but all that is left now is for the manager of the Gunners is to search for a replacement. If the speculations are true, the ex-striker has chosen to continue his career in Sky, where he will be earning about four million pounds yearly.
It is peculiar though that Wenger decided to place an ultimatum to Henry to choose between Arsenal and Sky, given the fact that the 66-year-old was a huge part of beIN’s coverage of the Euro 2016.
