The last few days have been busy for Real Madrid, as before less than a week the Whites were able to re-sign Toni and earlier today they did the same with Luka Modric.
The Croatian midfielder, albeit currently on the sidelines due to an injury, has signed a contract extension with Real Madrid until the end of June 2020. Modrid staying at the Santiago Bernabeu for another four years is definitely good news for the club, as he has been an integral part of their success in previous seasons.
It’s expected that the Whites will soon be able to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale as well, which will mean that they will have a solid core of players in years to come.
